Durham secured a second consecutive clean sheet but shared the spoils after playing out a low-key FA WSL 2 goalless draw against Millwall at The Den.
In a quiet opening half Jemma Purfield got the first shot away with a stinging effort that Sarah Quantrill saved after a deflection.
Rebecca Beech should have done better on five minutes after a loose touch from Dionne Lennon was seized on by Amelia Pereira, who fed the ball to Beech, but her shot was easily saved by Quantrill.
Millwall’s first effort came from Lillie Billson, whose ambitious effort sailed over harmlessly.
On 18 minutes Beth Hepple came close to breaking the deadlock, firing a dangerous long-range effort which grazed the top of the crossbar.
Rosella Ayane latched onto a wonderful pass from Naomi Cole 20 minutes later but narrowly missed the target from a tight angle.
Millwall started the second half brightly and Ciara Sherwood shot just wide from outside the box before stinging the goalkeeper’s gloves again six minutes later.
Pereira showed good trickery to work enough space for a shot but she dragged her effort wide of the target on 70 minutes while Ayane saw her shot saved late on after good build-up play by the hosts.
